Happiness = Creativity = Innovation

Happy people make creativity, and by extension, it can make innovation, at least in the view of Mr. Robert Sutton, author of the book: “Weird Ideas that Work.” According to Mr. Sutton, “happy warriors” champion innovation, where studies have shown that smiling (even if your sad), can help improve your mood and makes you “more” creative. And because humans are  social and emotional beings , we tend to share emotions our emotions. Having optimistic, energetic, happy smiling people around your workplace tends to spread an aura of enthusiasm. Aside from this, people in a good mood tend to think clearly (based on experience) and have a better effect on those around them, compared to those who are always in a bad mood.

So the next time you want to do something creative, but you are not in the mood, or you have felt you lost your creative touch, try one of the following: Go to a comedy bar, eat ice cream, or , . Remember, smiling IS awesome.
